Covid or not, NEAG keeps working for our local environment!

We’ve been very active over the last year, but February means we have to have an AGM, and the NEAG executive committee has made the difficult decision to hold this year’s AGM via ZOOM, the online platform for meetings.

This creates several difficulties, but we are working on sorting them out. The main problem is limited time (ZOOM allows a free meeting for 30 minutes). We would like to use that time mainly for open-floor discussion and electing/ratifying the committee members for 2021-2022. Rather than presenting portfolio reports (Chairperson, Treasurer, etc.) in person, we will circulate written reports to members a week before the AGM.

NEAG will set up the ZOOM meeting and circulate the time, and meeting password to members a week before the meeting, together with the meeting agenda.

While we feel that a ZOOM-based AGM is far from satisfactory, we are counting on the support of members to help NEAG through this difficult period.
