PROJECT NOORDHOEKED CHAPPIES EVERESTING CHALLENGE
Project Noordhoeked is the NGO in Noordhoek that keeps our beach clean, installs dog poo bins and helps keep the roads clean, amongst a host of other wonderful work they do for our community.
Karoline Hanks manages Project Noordhoeked. Karoline is also a keen trail runner.
This year, Karoline is going to run up and down Chapman’s Peak enough times to equal the height of Mt. Everest! All this so that PN can carry on keeping our neighbourhood and beach ship shape.

We have liftoff!
This year’s fRUNdraiser is something a little different, very local and hopefully, very lekker.
If successful, I will be officially added to the Everesting Hall of Fame.
My chosen route gets me to the top of Everest (8 848m) if I complete 14 Chappies summits in one effort.
I will be doing the challenge mid-July in the first decent weather window. I will be at it (most likely) for two full days and (hopefully) only one night.
Please consider supporting this one and helping me raise funds for my very own Project Noordhoeked.
I will be looking over the areas we work in with every summit….and a good percentage of the funds raised will be directed to clearing Rooikrans off the slopes of Chappies.
