NRPA Communication: Avondrust Circle/Chappies Restaurant Update & Noordhoek Farm Village Parking Update
Please click on avondrust-circle-restaurant-timeline-and-comment to read a history of the rezoning process for the Avondrust Circle/Chappies restaurant currently under construction.
Note that the stakes on the Common Verge are not for road widening purposes.
There is a plan to plant trees in line with existing trees, hence the stakes.
We are currently in communication with Traffic for the City of Cape Town (TCT) to discuss how they plan to manage potential verge parking once the restaurant is open.
The Farm Village Parking Lot – Erf 453
This erf is part of the Farm Village Property, adjacent to the Car Wash, Village Roast, The Foodbarn and Faith Juice, corner of Village Lane and Noordhoek Main Road.
Province has amended the title deed restriction to allow for parking.
Now goes back to the City for the continuation of the rezoning process started 2015.
It is hoped that once this parking lot has been built, it will alleviate parking issues on Noordhoek Main Road verges.
